Liga

1. Pablo Fornals

1️⃣8️⃣ @pablofornals 🔥 pic.twitter.com/d6DHgPNTde

— West Ham United (@WestHamUtd) June 18, 2019

From: Villarreal

To: West Ham United

Fee: £24m

Everyone in East London seems to be pretty excited by this signing, with Fornals swapping La Liga life for the Olympic Stadium to play under the watchful eye of Manuel Pellegrini.

The 2018/19 campaign saw the 23-year-old make 50 appearances for Villareal, which the attacking midfielder followed up with recently by scoring a late winner for the Spanish U21 side at Euro 2019.

2. Marcos Llorente

From: Real Madrid

To: Atletico Madrid

Fee: £35.6m

It was officially announced that Marcos Llorente would be swapping one Madrid giant for another in a move that sees the talented defensive midfielder switch to this season’s La Liga runners-up.

The 24-year-old leaves Real Madrid as they prepare to reinvent themselves on football’s biggest stage, with the former Madrid youth player amassing 39 appearances before his departure.

3. Juanmi

📣 OFFICIAL | Juanmi, first #RealBetis signing for the 2019/2020 season ✍💚😊

https://t.co/4A73TdIqVf#Juanmi2024 pic.twitter.com/srnCIqsGYQ

— Real Betis Balompié (@RealBetis_en) June 14, 2019

From: Real Sociedad

To: Real Betis

Fee: £7.1m

Last season, Juanmi netted five times in 30 La Liga appearances, with his goalscoring exploits and all-round contribution enough to tempt Real Betis into making him their first signing this summer.

Southampton fans may remember the Spanish international who spent just a single season in England on the south coast in 2015.

4. Moussa Diaby

🚨🇫🇷 TRANSFER NEWS 🇫🇷🚨

Moussa Diaby joins the Werkself from PSG on a five-year contract!

He’ll wear number 19 👕! #BonjourMoussa pic.twitter.com/I4BFv0coOb

— Bayer 04 Leverkusen (@bayer04_en) June 14, 2019

From: Paris Saint-Germain

To: Bayer Leverkusen

Fee: £13.4m

At just 19-years-old, Moussa Diaby has all the time in the world to prove himself in football and despite PSG’s allure, has opted to move to Germany to play for Bayer Leverkusen.

The youngster made 24 Ligue 1 appearances last season but with PSG attempting to recoup money following major acquisitions, Diaby has been shown the door from France’s capital.

5. Dejan Joveljić

Welcome to the Eagles, Dejan Joveljic! The 19-year-old striker has signed a five-year contract at Eintracht after joining from Red Star Belgrade. #SGEhttps://t.co/tUpBEVmZ0v

— Eintracht Frankfurt (@eintracht_eng) June 14, 2019

From: FK Red Star

To: Eintracht Frankfurt

Fee: £3.6m

Following the impending departure of club striker Luka Jovic to Real Madrid in July, Frankfurt identified 19-year-old Dejan Jovelijic as a man who could potentially fill those big shoes.

Scoring almost a goal every other game for Red Star, Jovelijic will now look to attempt the impressive form his predecessor produced prior to his departure to Madrid.

6. Takefusa Kubo

🇯🇵👋 Takefusa Kubo is a new @realmadrid player! He joins Castilla from next season. Welcome to the club, Takefusa! #HalaMadrid | #LaFabrica https://t.co/lIuJXksldA

— Real Madrid C.F. 🇬🇧🇺🇸 (@realmadriden) June 14, 2019

From: FC Tokoyo

To: Real Madrid

Fee: Undisclosed

Labelled as the ‘Japanese Messi’, the skilful Takefusa Kubo reportedly rejected the chance to rejoin Barcelona to sign up with Real Madrid, much to the delight of Zinedine Zidane’s side.

Learning his trade with Real Madrid Castilla, the 18-year-old – who has two caps for Japan – is a player who could develop into a real handful, especially if you believe the substance of his nickname!
7. Tommy Elphick

✅ @TommyElph4 has today become #htafc's first signing of the 2019 summer window, joining as a free agent after departing Aston Villa.

✍️ Elphick, 31, has put pen-to-paper on a two-year contract running until 30 June 2021.

➡️ https://t.co/kMECJqY2ui (AT)

— Huddersfield Town (@htafcdotcom) June 15, 2019

From: Aston Villa

To: Huddersfield Town

Fee: Free

Aston Villa’s promotion to the Premier League ensured that Tommy Elphick’s place in the starting eleven wasn’t a true possibility

Having spent half of last season on loan at Hull City, the defender will now join the recently relegated Huddersfield Town, who will be targeting a swift return to England’s top-flight.

8. Kortney Hause

We can confirm that we have taken up the option to permanently transfer Kortney Hause from Wolves. ✍️

The 23-year-old, who has represented England at Under-20 and Under-21 level, becomes the club’s third signing since winning promotion to the Premier League.#OurHause #AVFC pic.twitter.com/r2CvXOmNgu

— Aston Villa (@AVFCOfficial) June 17, 2019

From: Wolverhampton Wanderers

To: Aston Villa

Fee: £3m

Aston Villa took Wolves defender Kortney Hause on loan in January and after amassing 12 appearances in all competitions, the side in claret and blue made the move permanent.

Still only 23, there is plenty of time for Hause to establish himself but he will have to learn fast if he is to do so with his new ambitious employers.

9. David Ospina

David Ospina has completed his move to Napoli. Arsenal convinced Italian side to pay full purchase clause, £4m. https://t.co/hSmHdDGV8a

— James Benge (@jamesbenge) June 19, 2019

From: Arsenal

To: Napoli

Fee: £4m

A talented goalkeeper but always unlikely to start at Arsenal, Colombia international David Ospina has made his loan move at Napoli permanent this summer.

The 30-year-old will hope to build upon his 17 league appearances in Italy now that he is there to stay.
10. Daley Sinkgraven

DONE DEAL: Daley Sinkgraven has joined @bayer04_en from Ajax for a reported €5m, signing a four-year contract with the club. pic.twitter.com/TtlvvNJ4Nn

— Squawka News (@SquawkaNews) June 17, 2019

From: Ajax

To: Bayer Leverkusen

Fee: £4.5m

No, not Daley Blind, the other one. Daley Sinkgraven – who has been unfortunate with injuries and starting time across the past season or so – has opted to leave the Champions League semi-finalists this week.

His next home will be in Germany with Leverkusen, with the youngster set to rejoin his former Ajax coach Peter Bosz

11. Portu

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Preliminary agreement with @GironaFC for the transfer of @portu #OngiEtorriPortu #RealSociedad pic.twitter.com/KVoORAe8rE

— Real Sociedad (@RealSociedadEN) June 18, 2019

From: Girona

To: Real Sociedad

Fee: £8.8m

A first-team regular at Girona across the past three seasons, Portu has agreed to join La Liga rivals Real Sociedad in the immediate future.

With consistent La Liga experience and showing desire in seeing Girona return to Spain’s top league following relegation in 2016, Sociedad may have bagged themselves a bargain.

12. Stefan Lainer

DONE DEAL 🤝 #Borussia have completed the signing of right-back Stefan #Lainer on a five-year deal from @RedBullSalzburg 🐎💚#DieFohlen pic.twitter.com/I07kv4ZmLZ

— Gladbach (@borussia_en) June 19, 2019

From: Red Bull Salzburg

To: Borussia Mönchengladbach

Fee: £10.7m

Offering a five-year contract to any player is a show of faith and that is exactly what Borussia Mönchengladbach side have offered to Stefan Lainer

The Austrian defender has played in high-profile Europa League matches, has 10 caps for his country and at 26, is entering his peak years as a professional footballer.

13. Matteo Politano

✍ @Inter_en has signed Matteo Politano on a permanent deal after an impressive loan spell at the San Siro https://t.co/IXTdPflIw1 #SerieA

— beIN SPORTS (@beINSPORTS_AUS) June 20, 2019

From: Sassuolo

To: Inter

Fee: £18m

Yet another player who has used a temporary spell to his advantage.

Inter have taken up the option to sign the winger for £18 million after his impressive displays in blue and black helped the Serie A side secure a Champions League place next year.

14. Riccardo Orsolini

— Bologna Fc 1909 (@BfcOfficialPage) January 31, 2018

From: Juventus

To: Bologna

Fee: £13.3m

Clearly not seen as a player who will thrive under new Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri, Riccardo Orsolini has left the Serie A giants to join fellow Italians, Bologna.

The pacey winger will surely be an asset to his new side, who will be looking to improve upon their 10th-place finish this season.

15. Nikola Vlašić

OFFICIAL: Everton confirm Nikola Vlasic has completed a permanent switch to CSKA Moscow. pic.twitter.com/dRy5Uyj5nK

— Squawka News (@SquawkaNews) June 20, 2019

From: Everton

To: CSKA Moscow

Fee: £12m

Marco Silva is looking ahead following his first season with the Toffees and despite arriving in England with promise, Nikola Vlašić is no longer apart of Everton’s plans.

Vlašić – who scored the winning goal against Real Madrid in this season’s Champions League – makes his loan move to Moscow permanent for a sum of £12 million.
