In Luka Romero Bezzana, nicknamed 'the Mexican Messi', Real Mallorca have one of the most exciting talented talents in Spain in their ranks.
The 15-year-old has been called up by Vicente Moreno to train with the first-team squad ahead of their LaLiga Santander fixture against Barcelona.
Romero has yet to sign a professional contract with the club, who pay him a monthly salary and have rented an apartment for him and his family on the island.
He has three nationalities - Mexican, Argentine and Spanish - and has impressed with his performances in Mallorca's youth sides, as well as with Mexico at the 2019 South American Under-15 Championship in Paraguay.
Sources close to the club told EFE that it will be hard to retain the player if he attracts interest from top clubs in the near future.
Mallorca are willing to enter into talks with Romero over a professional contract when he turns 16 in November.
Assistant coach Daniel Pendin and striker Cucho Hernandez have already taken him under their wing as they intend to convince him to stay at the club.
In the past, players such as Marco Asensio and Mateu Morey departed the club at a very young age, with the former joining Real Madrid aged 18 and the latter moving to Barcelona at the age of 15.
